The Berchtesgaden jacket was made of knit black wool with a stripe of green trim at the bottom, and three wide stripes of green and red trim along the collar. It had small silver buttons, and both the waist and collar of the jacket were tied with twisted green wool cords.

German BDM Jacket, above photo. During WWII, the BDM, Bund Deutscher Mädel, The League of German Girls, was the female counterpart of the Hitler Jungend, for girls aged 15-17, and was originally established in December 1928 as the Schwesternschaft

The first BDM ski jacket was a pull-over style khaki, or “olive-grey”, jacket that was to be worn over the white blouse or wool clothing of the girl’s choice. It laced up at the neck and was supposed to be worn with the Gau triangle and the Hitler Youth insignia sewn on.

A good condition suedete BDM jacket complete with all its correct buttons, diamond shaped Hitler Youth/BDM sleeve emblem and its triangular district patch of ‘Sud Baden’. The interior of the jacket is lined and has its original NSDAP linen label which is named presumably to the owner.

This is a Bund Deutsche Mädel (BDM) Klettervest. There is no BDM areatriangle but it is clearly visible where there was one attached. It is up to the ne owner to restore ith with a triangle of choce or leave it as it is. The jacket is in very good condition, still nice of collor and with the HJ/BDM insignia which looks to be original applied.

The Jacket Vest was first mentioned in that regulation. It was worn by both members of the BDM and the JM organisation (Jungmädel, Young Girls). A regulation from October 10, 1933 described it further. It is light brown, with five or six brown buttons …

2025年2月9日 · This is a nice original BDM 'Kletterweste', also called 'Kletterjacke'. The jacket was introduced in 1933 and continued to be worn by JM and BDM members until the end of the Reich. It's made of velveton, which is a cotton velvet fabric.
