Bf1 is a solid title, it is the more casual of the Battlefield games which makes it a good one to jump into. Everything has been streamlined very well, it plays good! Bf5 is also solid, set in WW2 obviously. This one has more animations tied to things you do throughout matches so it can feel a lot slower than Bf1 gameplay.

For example in bf5 it takes double time to kill somebody than in bf1. Mechanics: Bf1 just had more. Operations are far better and you enjoy playing them. Bayonet attack is a freaking gold. Tanks are really scary and cool as well as playing planes is funnier. Behemoths, naval battles, gasses, bf1 just has more content and quality of it.
