BGFM Global is a missionary sending agency established in order to take the true Gospel of Christ to Brazil. In recent years it has expanded so that Brazilian missionaries also bless other nations. This ministry began in 1939 in Sobral, Ceará, Brazil, and in 1945 the Mission was officially organized in Illinois.

BGFM Global missionaries serve mainly Portuguese-speaking populations in several countries which include: the northeastern and southern regions of Brazil, Portugal, Mozambique, and the United States.

BGFM Global – Brazil. We were accepted with the mission in 1987. We arrived in Brazil in November of 1989. Our goal is to plant churches, and train those from within the planted churches to reach out and plant other churches in the region. Jim and Lydia have two children. Clyde Johnson and his wife Jamie live in Newton Kansas.

Brazil Gospel Fellowship Mission (BGFM) is a local church in Springfield, IL. Expect music styles such as contemporary, traditional hymns, and gospel choir. You might also find programs like community service, young adults, children's ministry, missions, and youth group.
