2020年12月26日 · Wanted to get some insight on how to properly expose the BMPCC 4k at 3200 iso. A bit of background: I am already a confident shooter and know my way around the camera settings quite well. Already have an understanding of Exposure/ISO/setting the camera at 400 or 3200 and exposing for the shot in camera. I never lift shadows in post.

I’m currently looking to purchase a gimbal for my bmpcc 4k, but I still can’t find a decent option in reviews that could cover stable balancing and follow focus adapter working fine for focusing. Does anyone have a good gimbal that works good with bmpcc 4k including follow focus that you could recommend? Thanks

2022年6月16日 · I'd recommend the S5. Full frame is just the format of the future. Plus it is newer and has more features than the BMPCC 4k. The other bummer is that the upgraded BMPCC is an EF mount so your lens investments should you upgrade would need you to probably look into where the Blackmagic Studio cameras go or the GH6.

2020年10月26日 · Theoretically, down-scaled 6k (or 4K) does offer some advantages, but if you’re delivering in 1080p to the web it’s not going to matter much. The most obvious benefits are the ability to punch in or pan without losing quality, and the ability to future proof the footage somewhat. These are primarily the reasons I use higher resolutions.

2022年4月24日 · Considering one of these as my next go-to for shooting video. I own the Panasonic Lumix g85 and while I have used it to shoot a few music videos, I prefer to keep it for photography. The GH6 or BMPCC 4k would be used primarily for videos/short films/web series. The battery life of the BM kinda kills it for me but the RAW sort of makes up for it ...

2022年5月11日 · The BMPCC 4K has an additional stop of dynamic range over the GH5S. I have seen posted proof that the BMPCC 4K has slightly better low light sensitivity than the GH5S. They use different resolution and custom versions of the same Sony sensor (the BMPCC is a Cinema 4K 17:9 version), so the differences are probably due to how the codec handles it.

It has astonishing autofocus compared to none, great ibis, better weather sealing, a tilt screen, better low light.

2023年5月22日 · 4k/6k own/op. BM are not run-and gun-systems. I follow focus myself when on sticks and use a fingertip control when on the Steadicam. I cannot imagine tapping the screen every time I wanted a focus point.
