The BMPT "Terminator" (Боевая машина поддержки танков – Tank Support Fighting Vehicle) [2] is an armored fighting vehicle (AFV), designed and manufactured by the Russian company Uralvagonzavod.

2011年4月6日 · The BMPT is armed with two 30mm 2A42 automatic cannons that can fire AP and HE projectiles. The two magazines can load ammunition of 850 rounds. Two coaxially mounted AGS-17A or AG-30 30mm grenade launchers stabilised in two planes and four supersonic Ataka-T anti-tank guided missile (ATGM) launchers form the primary armament.

For a higher rate of battlefield survivability, the BMPT is fitted with additional explosive reactive armour, on the front and sides. The forward part of the suspension either side is provided with skirts fitted with explosive reactive armour, while the rear part of the suspension is fitted with a grill-type passive armour array.

2013年11月14日 · The BMPT is usually built on a standard T-72 tank chassis, though a T-90S chassis can be used. It can be built new, or existing tanks can be converted. Kaktus reactive armour is fitted to the front of the hull and the forward two-thirds of the side skirts.
