The BMT Room. Patients stay in a special BMT room with a bed, television, VCR, phone, sink and private bathroom with a shower and bath. It is a special room that provides a positive pressure environment in which only highly purified (HEPA-filtered) air is allowed to enter.

Generally, only two visitors are permitted in the patient's room at any time. One caregiver is permitted to sleep overnight in the child's room. This caregiver must be over 18 years of age.
