The BMW X1 is a line of cars produced by German marque BMW since 2009. It is in the subcompact luxury crossover class, and the first-generation X1 was based on the E90 3 Series and offered rear-wheel drive layout as standard.

The BMW X1 is the most compact member of the BMW SUV lineup, at 175.5 inches long and an interior headroom of 41.9 inches. Despite its small size, the X1 can fit an impressive amount of cargo – up to 58.7 cubic feet.

The BMW iX1 is a battery electric version of the X1 U11. The iX1 was released on 11 November 2022 as the xDrive30. It features a 64.7 kWh lithium-ion battery, and dual motors placed at each axle for an all-wheel drive layout. Its power and torque output is rated at 309 hp (230 kW; 313 PS) and 494 N⋅m (50.4 kg⋅m; 364 lb⋅ft) respectively.
