2024年2月24日 · I am having error code 41 on my 330ci. I have done lots of jobs, changed the main timing chain and the other one. I used brand new camshaft sensors. Should I re-time the engine? I also rebuilt the Vanos with the rebuild kit. Any suggestions? Removing the timing chain or gears requires properly setting the vanos timing. Did you do that? “It's a BMW.

2007年10月30日 · remove the oil filter cap, unscrew the VANOS solenoid, then unbolt and remove the sensor. it's plugged in down under the airbox, so you may have to take it out to get your arm down there. then clear the code, and you're all fixed. and yes, the cam sensor is the reason your car is stalling. 2021年4月1日 · Last month we had a very late Z3 (E36) M52 TU in here with a consistent Fault Code 41 (P0340). Clear the fault and it would return with each 2nd. start of the ignition. Consistent with the DME fault table I posted a couple of weeks back.

2011年3月5日 · I buttoned everything back up and started the car to see if there were any problems. I then checked the codes with my Peake tool and it stills shows code 41. What's up with that? I bought a $90 BMW OEM CPS to ensure that I had the best possible chance of fixing the problem and after an all day job I still have code 41.

2012年8月27日 · Rewind a couple months ago I purchased a diagnostic cable/software to check for error codes and this is one of the codes that came up. Upon research through here I believed it to be the MAP sensor so I had that replaced along with the rubber grommet.
