2017年11月28日 · We have replaced the battery, and safety neutral switch and this helped however the issue intermittently remains and appears when starting the car. Does this error mean the egs can bus connection is experiencing data corruption? No other modules seem to be affected and the car drives fine until it is stuck in 4th gear trans fail safe mode.

Also, I get warning lights for brake, ABS, check rear lights. My car has done 160,000 trouble free mileage. My local BMW agent said that to exchange this would cost more than the car is worth.
