Just put it around the negative cable to get an amp reading. You can disconnect each door one at a time and see if the draw drops out. Setting up the vehicle for a draw I like to keep the doors open but I latch the doors manually using a screw driver so the vehicle thinks the doors are shut. Then lock the vehicle and monitor the draw.

Let the vehicle sit for an hour monitoring the amperage draw. It should go down over time and end up at around 30 to 60 milliamps. .030 Amps to .060 Amps. This would be a good reading. If after an hour you see more than .060 Amps then the draw is too high. To find the draw you can unplug modules or fuses to see if the draw goes down.

Whichever fuse stops the draw is the problem circuit. If you are not familiar with using this equipment or performing this type of test, you should have it carried out professionally. BMW dealers also have special equipment they can use to help identify the cause of this, so this is a second option, besides the above test.
