Ethanol reduces fuel economy, so E15 is WORSE than E10 for fuel economy. E10 is often used for regular (87) octane fuel. Typically, the higher the octane rating, the less ethanol it can have in it.

2022年4月29日 · You can go with an aftermarket fuel system that reads ethanol content and can give your car a serious boost in power. Ethanol is higher octane and can be pushed harder than regular fuel. Some really fast BMW's use E85 for fuel! Downside is that you'll be using double the quantity as ethanol has about 1/2 the energy of gas.

2022年4月13日 · Pump gas already achieves its octane rating with ~10% ethanol. By moving to E15, octane ratings will stay the same. Meaning, the AKI rating has already taken the additional 5% ethanol into account. So you won't be getting an octane benefit, just slightly less gas mileage but hopefully cheaper prices at the pump. _____

2016年5月26日 · I just put 4 gallons of e15 in mine and filled the rest up with 93. I was going to fill it up but the octane rating was only 88, and my tune is a 93oct tune, which is why I stopped. I also put the Stage 2 91oct tune on the car so it doesn't pull mad timing. I DID however manage to find an e85 station close to me! _____
