2019年5月27日 · The Key FOB for my 1997 BMW 740i E38 no longer works to lock and unlock my car and open the trunk remotely. I have the 3-button style key FOB with the LED. I can manually lock and unlock the car and start the engine. The battery went low and I replaced the battery. Then I went through the procedure to reinitialize.
