2022年3月31日 · I installed the E38 Contour seats in my 2001 540i touring! Bought them as dark green seats and had them painted black, and the guy that did it did an excellent job! By the way, these are the older contour seats with the black connector, so I had to source a black plug and splice the wires to both plugs. Wires with the same colour go together.

2008年9月14日 · I think it would just be easier to install the sport seats out of a short wheel base e38 740i Sport. They came with 18-way Sport Seats (has the articulating upper back like the comfort seats + the lumbar feature + the extending thigh support on the lower cushion).

2022年12月23日 · The E38 sport comfort seats are not the same as the e39 seats. E38 seats are far more comfortable in my opinion, larger base and shoulders and the sport comforts offer 18 way adjustability
