The BMW i Vision Circular is a study that looks ahead to a compact vehicle for the year 2040 that is focused squarely on sustainability and luxury. It embodies the BMW Group’s ambitious plan to become the world’s most sustainable manufacturer in the individual premium mobility space.

At the IAA Mobility, the BMW Group demonstrated just how a vehicle can be made entirely in line with the Secondary First principle – with the BMW i Vision Circular. The fully electric vision vehicle is made entirely of recycled materials and is fully recyclable itself.

The BMW Vision iNEXT is fully electric, fully connected and offers highly autonomous driving. The series-production model, set to become the company’s new technology flagship, will be built at BMW Group Plant Dingolfing from 2021. It will integrate the BMW Group’s strategic areas of innovation (“D+ACES”) and bring them to the roads.

Following the debut of the BMW iX Flow featuring E Ink at CES 2022, the BMW Group presented the BMW i Vision Dee, the world’s first full-colour version of this technology. The BMW i Vision Dee is able to display up to 32 different colours.

Our premium Sports Activity Vehicle, the BMW iX5 Hydrogen, will make a special guest appearance at the IAA. Shuttling between Munich’s town center and the IAA Summit, visitors will be able to experience what driving a hydrogen powered car feels like.
