2016年11月14日 · A MLS gasket is the best way without having to do machine work on the bottom end of the M42. I haven't seen many people push past 10 psi on a bone stock M42. I have a 150,000+ mile m42 in my car right now around 10 psi with a T25 all seems to be fine and I suspect around 190-200whp.

2016年11月14日 · weak, as BMW beefed it up significantly about the time it went into the E21. And the M42's no torque monster- and torque is what kills diffs. That said, don't waste money on a new small- case diff unless it's really cheap-the mid- case is a lot more durable with 'moar power'. But it adds significant weight and a little drag.
