2012年1月8日 · My R1200R I recently traded my 2012 K1600GT for a 2011 new R1200R and the R12R is such a fantistic bike. I cant think of any of the BMW's I've owned over the past 30 years that was more fun. I dearly loved the K16GT but for health reasons I needed something lighter.

2013年3月22日 · After 65,000 miles on my 2003 R1150R, I am pondering moving up to an R1200R and have encountered two for sale locally, both at dealerships here in southeast Michigan. One is a 2007 R1200R and the other is a 2011 R1200R (they both have very low miles and ABS)...there is a 45% price difference.

2014年6月6日 · The R1200R is about 92 lbs. lighter than the RT, but feels much nimbler than the RT. Equipped with a windscreen, top and side cases, many owners refer to it as a "RT lite." My bike has a Cee Bailey windscreen for winter and the stock BMW touring screen for summer. I have the stock BMW side cases.

2015年9月23日 · There can be problems with the fuel level sensing device - you can find a thread on this in the stickies section of this forum - but these failures were universal across all the hex/camhead bikes for the years BMW used them. ALL R1200R's have them. BMW has issued an extended warranty on the fuel sensors - 12 years from the initial date of purchase.
