2019年5月12日 · I suggest you pop into a local BMW dealer and ask them and also read the manual on how the OEM alarm works/operates. If you are now looking to fit an aftermarket alarm and GPS tracker, you might as well learn on the operation of that as it'll most likely bypass you needing to know the OEM alarm.

2010年6月28日 · There is no separate alarm horn. System uses the car horn if alarm is triggered. Alarm is armed by either pressing the little square button on the side of the switchblade key AFTER locking the car or if using the normal key in the doorlock it arms if you turn the key to a bit more than 90 degrees (like deadlock position).

2015年3月23日 · Checked availability of 65-12-2-167-739 and it doesn't look like its available, at least not in the US. Searching the part number on RealOEM shows it only available on European vehicles. Google search of part number shows it available from European BMW dealers, approximately $322.

2014年4月30日 · Trying to find out if my car has an alarm. "S302A Alarmanlage Alarm system". B) Checked under the hood, there is a hood open / closed sensor in the top right. From what I read online, this is only installed when an alarm is present. Also the hood switch is a part of the BMW factory retrofit alarm for this vehicle.

2016年2月26日 · Like many, I was surprised to learn after purchase that my $40k+ car did not come with a factory alarm. I did not want to go aftermarket since there are no “recommended” remote start options for BMW, so I decided to retrofit the OEM alarm.

In the market there is a device called Key Programmer, which can open your BMW doors in 10 seconds. This super loud alarm will scare these theft run away.

How stupid I was that I forgot to assign the option of S302A Alarm system when I placed my order. My car has arrived my dealer now and I am wondering any retrofit can be done to put this option back? 2019年3月4日 · It says “not for vehicles with S8TGA”, so it is something that affects the door locks but isn’t the door locks themselves. I encountered this same thing when retrofitting the alarm on my old F30. 8TG is simply their option code for "deadlocking" door locks, meaning that when the alarm is locked/turned on, the doors won't open via the inside handle.

2011年1月8日 · Laatste tip; wanneer een BMW een SCM klasse 3 alarm heeft hangt er onder aan de spiegel een rode clownsneus en moet er op de optielijst code 302 staan. Anders heeft de auto geen alarm klasse 3. Let op; er zijn BMW's met rode clownsneus en zonder alarm, dus check altijd even bij de dealer of er code 302 op zit.
