2021年1月4日 · I took delivery of my 45e on Xmas eve and I noticed straightway when coming to a stop it had a very strong smell and smells like burning diff oil and thought it would go away after awhile but still remains after covering 600m/1,000km.

I have a 2021 X5 45e. I've had it in the shop twice for "DriveTrain Malfunction" message. First time they changed the spark plugs, next time they said it was the high voltage battery, but when they checked the battery they said it was working fine, so they basically did nothing. Now on 8/4/2023, the message came on again.
