Nov 14, 2020 · My BMW X5 xDrive 45e is just short of being 1 month old with 737 miles and as they say at Mickey D's, "I'm loving it!" Setting, settings, settings. While I feel I've pretty much gone through the settings set to my preferences, I'm still discovering new ones.

I have a 2021 X5 45e. I've had it in the shop twice for "DriveTrain Malfunction" message. First time they changed the spark plugs, next time they said it was the high voltage battery, but when they checked the battery they said it was working fine, so they basically did nothing. Now on 8/4/2023, the message came on again.

Apr 18, 2022 · Yeah, I was reading more and decided to set the limit to 10A, which is the max of the charger that BMW gave me for my 2023 X5 45e. The wall outlet is either a 15A or 20A outlet in the garage. I'm checking on the cost of a 220 outlet for a level 2 charger.

Aug 7, 2022 · Both the X5 45e are built on BMW 4th Gen PHEV platform. As noted in newtis. And the car's are identical from a PHEV perspective with the difference being in battery capacity. I do think BMW is using the engine to heat the battery for a cold start and not a heater which is why it isn't mentioned in the technical document you posted.

Oct 5, 2022 · 2021 BMW X5 xDrive 45e [9.93] we had just refinanced in Oct 2020 and came out on top with huge equity, so I decided to walk into the BMW dealership. up to that time, I've driven Audi SAVs, but my wife always drove a bimmer. the 45e is my first bimmer daily driver, and i consider it one of the best purchases in my adult life.

Aug 1, 2020 · Just got the 45e to replace our 2017 X5 hybrid, which I could fully charge overnight via a standard 110v outlet and the included charger. The new 45e as a much larger battery and cannot be fully charged overnight, obviously.

Jul 29, 2021 · 2021 BMW X5 xDrive 45e [9.92] having owned a diesel Audi Q7 in the past, if I were to compare just engines, my travel habits and areas, etc, I would choose the 45e. I'm not much of a tower, but the towing specs of the 45e would be more than adequate.

I confirmed this with my VIN with the parts department of BMW of West Chester (PA, USA) yesterday - although Trailer Tow Hitch Kit 71 60 688 9276 (not 51 12 6 889 278) is for my car …
