BN 3505 : Description: A pair of GP40M's which were new as GP40's CBQ 627 and 630, becoming BN 3027 and BN 3030. Becoming 3505 and 3508 upon conversion to GP40M. BNSF renumbered them 3004 and 3007. 2007年10月24日 · Was this a wreck rebuild? Or renewal and upgrade? BN 3508 is a rebuild of CB&Q GP40 630 then BN 3030. The locomotive went through a general rebuild of the GP40's by BN in 1989. It was part of the GP30/35/40 fleet to GP39M/E/V and GP40M/E. The E's were rebuilt by EMD, M's by MK, and the V's..... well forgot that one. VMV (Paducah?).

1) BN 3508 leads 2nd #161 westbound at Milepost 26 on BN's East End, between Lisle and Naperville IL. Oct. 12, 1991. 2) BN 3509 leads #4 eastbound at Milepost 138 on the C&I at Burke (east of Savanna IL) on the climb out of the Mississippi River basin.

1st image, on Saturday May 27th, tho brings us to BNSF's BN's CB&Q's North Lacrosse yard we find BNSF 3007, previously, BN 3508, BN 3030 CB&Q 630, GP 40 with lotsa miles under its hood. Now relegated to Remote Control switch engine. Motors trailing are used for locals.
