7252, SD40-2, was built by Electro-Motive in February 1980, #786252-17, FN 786252-17, as BN 7252, Class SD40-2. It became BNSF 7252, Class SD40-2, in August 2001 and sold as FURX 7252 in February 2002.

There may be signs of age/wear, stamp/pen/marker notations, etc., but everything listed is in good, viewable condition.

BN #7252 leads two GE types on west-bound coal train crossing the Union Pacific in Grand Island Nebraska. Leading a east-bound Vehicle train on a very cold morning was the BN #7291 coming into Prairie Du Chien WI.
