2015年6月8日 · This locomotive was delivered to the Chicago Burlington and Quincy Railroad as E8 9973, built August 1953 (c/n 18315), becoming BN 9973 on March 2, 1970, rebuilt by Morrison Knudsen May 1978, becoming BN 9907 until retired July 1992.

2025年3月5日 · One would think that 9907 could be used in a similar way that the GN painted F45 in Montana with the engine compartment being redone as a living space, lodge, office or other such idea. Didn't IRM own the 9907 or was it owned by another party?

Backing in from the coach yard to Chicago Union Station and coming out, I caught BN 9907 (E9A, ex-CB&Q 9973) and 9908 (E9A, ex-CB&Q 9976) and a big train of bi-level cars from the Roosevelt Road Viaduct on September 19, 1987.
