2011年11月28日 · Since 9908 is missing its HEP engine and given the work we need to do to it, it is much better suited to have a proper restoration back to CB&Q 9976. The BN-3 is complete as it is, HEP and all, and is better suited to be restored to BN 9919 in the commuter scheme, leaving the BN1 and BN2 to represent the executive scheme.

It was renumbered 510 and became BN 9908, Class E-7, in 1907. It was for scrap to Naporano Iron & Metal Co in July 1972. 9915, E7A, Class E-7, was built in March 1949, #6505, FN E1006-A6, as Chicago Burlington & Quincy 9935-B .

While the project is active, the newest photos will be displayed first. Once the project is completed, the order will be changed to display oldest to newest.

For the short term (at least several years) 9908 will remain as it is. This unit is best suited for being restored to CB&Q 9976, when the time comes. And in reality, the BN3 is best suited going back to BN 9919 and leave the BN1 and BN2 to represent the executive scheme.
