Actually BNSF 1600 is the Longmont Turn. Here's the 1700 after the crew changed ends. While the Longmont Turn was in the yard, the "stinky Slinky" southbound sulfer train passed and was caught on Mason Street in Ft. Collins. Nice Rich! C.W. this morning said something to the effect that the Longmont Local to Fort Collins would be daily now.

Can anyone shed some light as to whether or not BNSF 1600 is coming to (Southern) California? I heard it was in the consist of an HPASBAR or MPASRRB train headed southward. In case you aren't familiar with BNSF 1600, this is a former BN (NP) GP9 with a chopped nose, and is painted in Heritage-I colors.

I saw 1600 in Tacoma today in the yard.
