2013年7月26日 · Epa 10 check engine light but no derate. Told the solenoid for BPV is bad. They told me i can tie the wastegate open and will loose some boost performance but not hurt anything. Question is if the little shock looking valve is completely withdrawn into itself would that mean the wastegate is open or closed?

My observations and presumptions on how it functions:-pin in middle pushes down and spring forces it back up-exhaust port is at the top on the side in this picture(can poke a pick into it)-when solenoid pushes the pin down the valve is open-when solenoid releases air flow from inlet is cut off

2013年7月26日 · The EBP valve on an MX is used for regeneration only to create back pressure which in turn creates heat to maintain and build exhaust temps. It serves no other purpose. Since your DPF fell off.....you dont need it. The BPV valve is needed on any MX engine still meeting emissions compliance. ISX uses VGT for back pressure.

2022年4月11日 · Absolute is true reading, relative is a "gauge" reading that has barometric pressure already figured in. Fuel pressure is a little low, regulator is on back of cylinder block, square manifold. You can order just valve, they are usually fractured. View attachment 407845

2019年8月7日 · That gate opens if there's a blockage also or too much back pressure from say the dpf so maybe check that I've also heard of the bpv valve opening randomly when you have high back pressure also Lightning McQueen , Feb 23, 2020

2013年4月2日 · Here you go. Any questions ask. Have to pull air intake mixer pipe when pulling venturi tube to clean, so need new gasket where it bolts to cylinder head. Watch how you pull it out, can easily damage the rail pressure control valve connector (only did it once!). I have a brush that I clean venturi tube with first, then use scotch brite pad.
