2016年7月4日 · BRP M62 Hotside Supercharger. Installation. My son and I found and purchased a new still in the box BRP M62 supercharger kit from a member of Miata.net on September 28, 2014. The seller explained that this kit was destined for a car back in 2004 or 2005 but somehow got put up on a shelf in his shop and was forgotten.

The BRP kit included a BRP hotside M62 blower with a 70 mm throttle body, machined billet R1 manifold with 5th injector system, an ELF engine management system, a 5th injector controller and all the hardware and supporting parts to install kit.

2016年8月6日 · We finished the M62 Supercharger installation on 08/06/2016. There were several tasks to be completed when Matt arrived. Matt took care of a hanger issue on the exhaust. Meanwhile, I made a bracket to hold the bypass vacuum acutator open so we could run the engine and shake down the supercharger install before we started running boost.

2013年1月21日 · For track work and assuming you've no issues making bracketry up the less stressed charger is the better option IMO, you have to absolutely spin the knackers off an M/MP45 to hit 220 or so bhp, whereas with an M62 or MP62 you're still in it's high efficiency island. You'll also have a fatter midrange with the larger blower.

BRP MP62 Coldside Supercharger kit. Supercharger mounted on custom intake manifold mounted on intake side of engine. This kit is a non-intercooled system with low throttled volume and includes a 75mm throttle body. Emissions legal with CARB certification pending. Once installed, only 18 lb. of added weight to the car.

2016年9月6日 · M62 Supercharger. We have fixed the issues we had with the engine starting and running so we have been able to focus on the tune. Tuning is going well now that Ken Hill has been helping us. We had limited boost to about 5 psi while we were still sorting out some problems. This past weekend we started making logs while adding more and more boost.
