The 250 cc BSA C25 Barracuda was first introduced in model year 1967 (1 August 1966 to 31 July 1967) to replace the C15 that had been in production since 1959. It used a modified version of the C15 engine and a modified version of the welded duplex frame first introduced in 1963 in the C15 competition model.
