A BSN is a four-year degree. At Washington State University, students spend two years on their general university requirements and nursing prerequisites. Those can be done at Pullman, Tri-Cities, or through equivalent transfer coursework from outside WSU.

The University System of Georgia approved Fort Valley State University for a new Pre-licensure Bachelor of Science in Nursing (PL-BSN) program in August 2021. The PL-BSN program was awarded developmental approval from the Georgia Board of Nursing in March 2022 and initial approval in November 2022.

As part of the prelicensure BSN (PL-BSN) admission process, applicants must complete a virtual assessment using Kira Talent. You will be asked to submit timed video responses to questions that have been pre-recorded by the College of Nursing.
