2022年8月8日 · Thanks @VeteranISPUser , I see, so, when I get the full fibre 100 upgrade, will I still have BT halo 3+? I thought BT halo was a package as it advertised speeds on its page when I selected it, among other things which made it seem like a package, sorry for the confusion.

2021年2月5日 · Regarding reduced speeds, the advertised average speed for Fibre 2 was 67Mbps download and Fibre with Halo 1 is advertised as 52Mbps to 57Mbps with a guarantee of 47Mbps. See below from BT websites. It seems such a coincidence that when my service was changed from Fibre 2 to Fibre with Halo 1 my speed went down from 67 to 55. BT Fibre 2

2022年3月1日 · Looks like I am paying way too much for Fibre with HALO 1 and regularly have to restart the broadband. S o, looking at other options. Fibre 2 seems to give me similar download and upload speed range for way less money. .

2025年2月9日 · Currently I am on Fibre Halo 3 paying £49 per month but I was offered Fibre 500 for £44 per month but the price rise would bring me up to what I am paying now so illustrating that leaving Halo is possible. I have downloaded the price tariffs for BT and EE and the maximum prices are insanely high.

2024年10月20日 · If you on Halo 3+ and dont use it . I would see if you can downgrade to just Halo 3 or get rid of Halo altogether. BT seem to try and get customers on a Halo package just to get more money out of them. Even if they really dont need a Halo package.

2022年3月2日 · Sorry should have read BT Halo 1 to Halo 3 as apparently there never was a Halo 2!! I cannot have fibre to the premises until a later date which I realise. Being remote from the exchange I'm happy getting the speeds I get.

2025年2月21日 · Anyway in reality when the internet goes down it can take 30 mins for it to switch to the halo box, and when your internet comes back it often doesnt switch from 4g to normal broadband unless you switch off/on the router. Its meant to be seamless. Also on the front it has 3 lights, with 3 being strong 4g signal 1 being poor.

2023年10月27日 · Halo 3 and Halo 3+ are different things. Halo 3+ provides a Hybrid Connect device whereas Halo 3 doesn't. As @Anonymous has said, it is impossible to give a price for the benefits as they come as part of a package and are not itemised. Having Halo 3+ will definitely be more expensive than either Halo 3 or no Halo.

Our Wifi reaches halfway down the garden at the moment (although it's been poorer lately), but it sounds like Halo 1 might not even work in all rooms in the house. I still have time to cancel the upgrade...
