2024年8月22日 · The BT customer service is horrendous. You call the number, it tells you you’ve been sent a text to a chat. I want to speak to someone, no option for ‘anything else’. Went into webchat, person took 55 mins to send me an adapter for digital voice. It’s a horrific experience from a customer perspective.

2024年10月29日 · Number porting is between CP’s, BT, Sky, Talk Talk VM and now various VoIP providers ect, each own an initial certain number range in each exchange area, when you move they negotiate and pass the details between themselves within a certain time window. If that window is missed then the chain of events is broken and problems occur.

2024年9月24日 · Hi @diane0211 I ported by BT DV telephone number to Voipfone, which automatically cancelled my out of contract BT broadband. I was lucky that an AltNet full fibre was available at the same time, so ended up paying a third of the price of BT for the next 18 months and finally broke the link between ISP and landline phone.
