Papua New Guinea Bible Translation Association (PNGBTA) is an indigenous Christian organization that was established to work closely with Churches all around the country training mother-tongue speakers to be part of translating the Bible into their local languages.

2024年12月22日 · In early August this year, both women successfully completed their internship term; another achievement for PNG BTA! SIL PNG's Scripture Access Department reassured both women and BTA that they are willing to support and work together to ensure Scripture Use and Engagement blossoms and becomes successful in the organization!

The door to Bible translation is wide open in PNG. Christians from all over the world have contributed to Bible translation in the country, and God’s Word is available in more languages here than in any other nation in the world. BTA and several other organizations continue working in languages all around the country.

The Papua New Guinea Bible Translation Association (PNGBTA) is an indigenous Christian organization established to work closely with the church to train mother-tongue speakers to participate with the art of Bible translation. The ministry is involved in language development, Bible translation, literacy and Scripture engagement.
