The Baily Lighthouse (Irish: Teach Solais Dhún Criofainn[2]) is a lighthouse on the southeastern part of Howth Head in County Dublin, Ireland. It is maintained by the Commissioners of Irish Lights.

2016年5月24日 · Baily Lighthouse is one of the two lighthouses located in the Howth Peninsula (the other is the Howth Lighthouse). It is beautiful, but pitifully is not possible to arrive there by walk or car, because the entrance is close.

A cottage-type lighthouse (a type of lighthouse unique in Ireland) was established on Howth Head about 1667. It consisted of a small cottage with battered walls, which is still in situ, with a coal-burning beacon on top of a square tower positioned against the eastern gable end of the cottage.

Baily Lighthouse is located in the southeast of Howte Head in the Irish Sea, a lighthouse on the southeastern part of Howth Head (Irish Sea) in Dublin, Ireland. The first lighthouse on this site was built in about 1667 by Sir Robert Reading and was one of six that Reading had received letters patent to build from Charles II in 1665.

At the southeast tip of the Howth Peninsula, Baily Lighthouse watches over the entrance to Dublin Bay. From here you have a fantastic view over the bay to Dalkey. A popular hiking trail along the cliffs leads from Howth to the lighthouse.
