2009年2月12日 · The tree is enormous. The circumference of many was at least 100 feet. The locals belive that after creation, each animal was given a tree to plant. The hyena was given the baobab and planted it upside down. During the dry season, when the tree has no leaves, it looks just like it is upside down with roots up in the air.

2020年8月9日 · Likely none.. but as weird as our climate zones can be, ..and if you can obtain seed, wouldn't hurt to try at least A. digitata. You might have better luck trying Floss Silk Tree ( Ceiba speciosa ) and a white flowering species ( C. insignis ) Both succeed in colder parts of Tucson decently.

On our recent trip to Madagascar, Kim and I visited Morondava on the west coast, and spent a good amount of time a bit inland from Morondava, enjoying the incredible sight of hundreds and hundreds of baobab trees sprinkled all over a large area there.

2024年11月21日 · The top left looks like a tree. I’ve seen those seeds lying under big banyan style trees over there. Could be a Ficus. Top middle is definitely pandanus. Bottom left does look like a boabab style fruit. The other two are trees but I don’t know which ones. Unfortunately almost all the vegetation in Mauritius is introduced.
