The Bangor and Aroostook Railroad (reporting mark BAR) was a United States railroad company that brought rail service to Aroostook County in northern Maine. Brightly-painted BAR boxcars attracted national attention in the 1950s.

Atlas upgrades the GP-7 for a 2001 "Classic" series release that included, "separately applied wire grab irons; MU hoses and coupler cut bars; improved painting and printing." This represents the GP-7 as it appears currently when offered by Atlas.
