BarOS (Bar System before 1991) is a series of operating systems for the Progresh computer (later named pBar starting from 1999) that was created by Pyrus Pyrifolia Calculators in 1983. It is based on Apple's macOS lineup of operating systems (previously known as Mac OS X, then OS X) and its predecessor, Classic Mac OS.

This is the first BarOS system to have the ability to generate AI wallpapers. Starting with this version of BarOS, Progresh has been replaced with Brainy, which resembles Apple Intelligence - although Apple Intelligence is not a virtual assistant. This is the second BarOS system to have animated wallpapers. The first one is BarOS 14.
