2024年2月13日 · In the engine bay he installed a turbocharged 4.0 L Ford Barra inline-six featuring a NA block, factory internals, and Garrett GT3576 turbocharger. The engine is tuned by Maxx Performance for low-end torque. It produces 669 Nm (493 lb-ft) of torque at 2,200 rpm. Backing the Barra motor is a ZF manual transmission and 80-series axles.

The 4.0-litre ‘Barra’ engine pumps out 300kW and 600Nm thanks to a high-mount intake manifold, custom airbox, front-mount intercooler with custom piping, 3-inch exhaust and a 4-inch snorkel. All the custom fab’ work was done by Richard.

This customised Dellow Bellhousing Kit fits a 6 cylinder “Barra” Turbo engine to a Toyota Land Cruiser 40 / 60 / 70 Series with a manual 4-Bolt gearbox. This kit is applicable to Land Cruisers manufactured from 1973 to 1992, and also the 3F up to about 1996 (kit not suitable for “B” Series 4 cylinder diesel vehicles).
