However, I didn't notice until now that they never stopped taking meal deductions since we were in field every other month and I just assumed (I'm an idiot) that the meal deductions were due to me having to pay for MREs.

2023年8月17日 · Like you said, your command should send a 4187, but you don't necessarily need to go through the medical process. The medical memo should be enough regardless of your command trying to claim the medboard. You could also call/walk into your local/servicing financial office, as it's the place that can give you the guidance on this topic.
