The Battle of Jutland (German: Skagerrakschlacht, lit. 'Battle of the Skagerrak') was a naval battle between Britain's Royal Navy Grand Fleet, under Admiral Sir John Jellicoe, and the Imperial German Navy's High Seas Fleet, under Vice-Admiral Reinhard Scheer, during World War I.

The Battle of Jutland (31 May-1 June 1916) was the largest naval battle of the First World War, involving 250 ships and around 100,000 men. It was also the first and only time that the British and German fleets of 'dreadnought' battleships met each other in battle.

The following three charts are based on those in the book The Fighting at Jutland, edited by H. W. Fawcett and G. W. W. Hooper, circa 1921. Although modern research shows that they are not 100% accurate, they do provide a reasonable approximation of the events of the battle.
