Aug 11, 2020 · I am looking at a Barnett XP380, Bear Constrictor and the PSE Coalition Venge crossbows. These have the one major option I need in crossbow, the adjustable butt stock. I need the buttstock as I have a fused elbow ( a gift from Uncle Sam). I currently use an old recurve with a home built stock extension. It is time to move on and up.

Now I'll have two of them! Also I contacted Bear and asked them why the Saga was dropped. They very quickly replied stating this, I quote.

Oct 10, 2020 · Goto to Bear Forum. I have posted this issue last December and Farm Deer did a follow up post why. Don't use those nocks. They will separate any serving. I read that Bear was now recommending Alpha Nocks but I can assure you 1/2 moon nocks work perfectly and you will not have this issue. Call Bear and inform them of the issue.

Jan 12, 2019 · Ravin is now owned by a company called Velocity Outdoors. This parent company also owns CenterPoint crossbows. Ravin crossbows are currently designed, made and assembled in Superior, Wisconsin. However, I'm sure their parent company wants to bring some synergy between the two.

Aug 9, 2021 · After just a couple of shots with the new arrows and nocks, the serving came back together. So yea, Bear really needs to re-think their TrueX nocks. The Versa nocks fit snug up on the string and extend on past just like the True-X nocks do. Cannot see how I will ever get a semi-dry fire with them as long as I always set them back tight.

Jul 17, 2016 · I have a comment on bear hunting. I believe how you hunt for bear will determine what you use for a load. Whether it's a gun or bow. Hunting from a tree stand over bait gives you a lot more time to pick your shot. Even pick your bear. You could probably use the minimum load for that and get away with it.
