Bear Story (Spanish: Historia de un oso) is a 2014 Chilean animated short film, directed by Gabriel Osorio Vargas. The screenplay was co-written with Daniel Castro, and the film was produced by Pato Escala Pierart.

Bear Story is an animated short film inspired by the life of Leopoldo Osorio, Gabriel Osorio’s grandfather, during his days as a political exile during the military dictatorship. Its production took two years and, since its premiere in 2014, it has been awarded more than 60 international awards.
