2009年6月28日 · I know very little about this part of the war. I was wondeing if anyone could tell me what vehicles were used by the BEF in 1940 in France - i.e. before the Dunkirk incident. I am particluarly interested in armoured cars and softskins, although am also interested in other armour, so anything goes really. Cheers shorty

2023年12月20日 · This is based on the IBG Universal Carrier, suitably converted. It represents a vehicle from 13/18 Hussars, the Divisional Cavalry Regiment of 1st Infantry Division, in Belgium, 1940. The decals are from Aleran, and the figures are Zvezda, chopped around a little. Edited to delete the photos. Corrected model will follow.....

Xtracolor has 1814 deep bronze green and 1815 mid bronze green will these do? 2011年5月7日 · A GHQ instruction, dated 13 March 1940, which lists every unit in the BEF and its approved markings, has recently been discovered. Using this and a GHQ letter of amendments, dated 11 April 1940, the author has compiled a fully illustrated guide to BEF markings as at 11 April 1940, just a month before the German invasion of France.
