The VT-01 is a hefty and ruggedly built single chassis Line Stage amplifier. The VT-01 circuit topology consists of a vacuum tube differential input amplifier with a transistor current mirror, followed by a transistor voltage gain stage. The output stage is a dual cathode follower with a transistor constant current load.

The Belles VT-01 sounds spectacular, looks gorgeous, is easy to operate, and, considering its performance, is reasonably priced. In fact, I haven’t heard anything in its price range that sounds remotely as good.

2009年8月17日 · Packed into the beautifully-sculpted, chunky 432x133x342mm (whd), 22kg chassis is a new circuit with a complementary differential input stage. It employs bipolar transistors instead of JFET transistors, while the output stage uses MOSFETs. It may be rated at only 30W into 8ohm, but in practice it’s far beefier [see Lab Report].

2019年1月17日 · Originally supplied by ourselves in 2012, this wonderfully musical and engaging piece brings many great quality to a audio system. The Version 2 had only one pair of tubes, reed relay switching, improved voltage regulation and around 30% better all round than the V1.

So was born the VT-01 valve hybrid pre amplifier, using a fully discrete input stage and dual cathode follower output section. This imparts the Belles VT-01 pre with a full bandwidth (100Khz+) top to bottom linearity. Whilst retaining the incredibly musical fluid sound that a high quality valve preamp is capable of.
