2004年1月27日 · The Bessa R seems cheaply made, but people's experience is that it is reasonably durable. It is much more friendly to someone who wants an old fashioned manual camera. Lenses are cheaper and more plentiful. Note that having owned both, I think the Bessa R shutter is less "harsh" sounding than the Bessa R2.

2003年7月27日 · The Bessa R here has required adjustment several times; so much that I have the hot shoe always removed; and the top taped. There is an adjustment for infinity; have never seen anybody talk about the close up adjustment for linearity. I doubt there is any arm length adjustment; ie gain of the rangefinder adjust.

2023年1月27日 · The Bessa R may be somewhat hyped today, but is really based on a very cheap Cosina camera which was good value in its day but was never made with the intention of long life and repair. A Barnack Leica would probably cost about the same to have repaired but would be a much better long term investment.

2007年2月3日 · The Bessa R is for M39 lenses and their is an adapter made but that is to adapt a M39 mt. to . a M mt. You might have been better off buying a Bessa with M mt. and then getting maybe . less expensive M39 mt. lenses and the M mt. adapter. The older Leica M39 lenses are sharp . and of lower contrast that many of the newer lenses made by Bessa.
