I'm pretty fond of my Kelly "Dandenong" Axe, which was made by for/by Kelly in Welland Vale, Canada.

2020年10月20日 · Estwing Sportsman's Axe, easily one of the best axes/hatchets ever, (In a low price range.). I did get the opportunity to use a Gransfor's Bruks Small Forest Axe this week, and I have to tell you, the Estwing doesn't even compare. But that axe is a $160-$200 axe. So, I would definitely recommend the Estwing.

2018年1月17日 · Also, I can easily chop bending over with the handle of the axe parallel to the ground with a 24" handle. The dirt takes the miss, not my legs. If the limb is 4 ft off the ground I'm not taking full swings with a heavy axe. That would be dangerous. I would swing a lighter axe choked up with both hands so I can control the swing path better.
