2007年2月11日 · I used 25 Fat max Extreme for 2 weeks didnt fit in tape holder and i did not have room for it in my tool belt. I now use the powerlock 2. I sometimes use the extreme for work on my own and estimating but almost never when i am framing. Plus the large space between the tip and the tape worries me because it is hard to tell if it is broken.
The Best Tape Measure??? Lets decide with a poll!
2022年6月13日 · It has better standout than original 1", but still flexable enough for insde/roll in, trim type measuring. If I were framing, it would be Fatmax. All of the Stanley tapes have shorter lth markings than the Chineese tapes. The long type tend …

2022年5月4日 · Yes I always carried two tape measures, two pencils, two utility knives. I know myself and that I often would drop something from a scaffold and rather than waiting for someone to toss it back to me I could carry-on until later. Whenever I would be in a store and hold a 16 foot tape measure it felt like a toy for a kid.

Tape Measure's - What's everyone Use? - Contractor Talk
2011年9月20日 · For measuring windows, I use the 16' Fat Max. For siding horizontal runs, I use a 100' fabric tape (I forget the brand, but it has a nice hook that I can plant in the ground and take off down the yard), plus, it can get wet and I don't have …
Blue tape, suddenly seems useless - Contractor Talk
2012年2月22日 · We started taping in the name of speed at some point, and I did get into the blue tape/frog tape/specialty tape/tape guns/rolls of plastic for the tape guns/etc for awhile. Then I looked at what that crap costs. Went back to basics. Now I only buy the big rolls of painters plastic (like 12x400) and cheap tape. Works fantastic.
Best emthod to seal off a room during remodel - Contractor Talk
2004年6月17日 · You have to watch wet sanding, and I wouldn't recommend it with paper tape unless you are a pro. I won't regale you with my experience but it involved a wife and a 6 yr old daughter that were trying to 'help'. You have to be very careful and if you hit the tape, it will start to 'pill' and spread to other parts of the wall.

4 hour old blue tape pulling polyurethane off of 5 day...
2008年7月26日 · The same goes for simple foot traffic and someone pivoting in their sneakers on the floor, which will cause strong lateral force and rip up the poly finish because it has less adhesion to the floor than 4 hour old painters tape. Hopefully steaming it off tomorrow after we finish the paint won't destroy the poly, but it's my best hope at this point.
