If you need BF sword for I.E or collector, why are you gonna buy a long sword or pickaxe? You are just setting yourself back by 300g or 875g from rushing towards your item. This is because buying a serated dirk forces you have 1300 gold next back. While buying the bf, lets you buy a couple longswords if you don't have enough gold.
