It was always like that, before some media retconned to either Bi-Han being completely innocent or Quan Chi did everything. Bi-Han was never evil as Subzero, he only started doing all this shit pre corruption due to the writers not understanding him.

2023年7月20日 · Og Bi Han was apart of a deadly assassin clan that dehumanized and subjugated its members. Bi Han was actively kept in check by the grandmaster and had little actual agency in terms of his actions within the clan (for the most part). This Bi Han was raised in a much lighter Lin Kuei environment where he wasn't threatened with death for disobeying.

2023年9月24日 · Bi Han just views “being Liu Kang’s inferior forever” as a worst fate than anything Shang Tsung could do to him. He viewed Shang Tsung as the lesser of two evils. Whether that’s objectively true or not is irrelevant. Alongside his growing irritation being understandable to me, I felt Bi Han did actually show more sides to him.
