Big Oak Ranch exists to meet the needs of abused, neglected and abandoned children by giving them a solid, Christian home and a chance to realize and fulfill God’s plan for their lives. The Big Oak ministry grew out of the desire to give hurting children a chance.

Big Oak Boys' Ranch. The Ranch sits on 474 acres of rolling pastureland in east Alabama. Today, there are 13 homes (and growing!) that are home to boys from 6-18 years old who come from abuse, neglect and abandonment.

With a Girls' Ranch in Springville and a Boys' Ranch in Gadsden, Big Oak Ranch is a place for children whose circumstances have left them needing a home. Before arriving at Big Oak Ranch, some of the children they serve suffered from extreme poverty, neglect and even violence.
