The first wheelchair Ride in 1998 went from Yankee Stadium to Washington to raise awareness about ALS. The trip took 15 days. Now, pALS ride their power wheelchairs along the highways across Long Island to Manhattan.

Now in NH, ME, and MA! The Tri-State Trek, a dynamic weekend biking event dedicated to advancing ALS research at the ALS Therapy Development Institute (ALS TDI). Get ready for an extraordinary experience, with picturesque routes weaving through the stunning landscapes of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Maine.

The Tri-State Trek is a fully supported weekend bike ride that travels through three states. Its mission is to raise funds for ALS research at the ALS Therapy Development Institute (ALS TDI). As the Drug Discovery Engine for ALS, we will continue to discover and invent drugs until there are treatments for everyone with ALS.

We offer six cycling routes and a walk & roll route to accommodate all levels of activity and accessibility. Every participant can count on support from start to finish and cyclists will be supported with rest stops, SAG vehicles, and route monitors.
