That is probably written by a tagalog or someone from luzon. I have never heard a bisaya speaker say "pag sinebuano ug istorya" instead it is always "pag binisaya ug istorya". And besides that we identify as Bisaya as an ethnic group. We are not claiming the whole Visayas regions as ours but rather we claim those who speak the language as bisaya.

To learn vocabulary, hear a word said that you don't know, then write it down, or make a cellphone note, and look it up. Think of something you want to say but don't know, then look it up. Ask people "unsa mani sa Binisaya ba?" when you don't know what something is.

Oct 13, 2023 · Many Cebuano-speaking people do not know the Ethnic and Language history of Bisaya Islands they assume that the Cebuano language is the only Bisaya or Binisaya language which is false. Hiligaynon, Aklanon, Cebuano, Capiznon, Kinaray-a, Bantoanon, Romblomanon, Waray, Surigaonon, Cuyonon are also BISAYA languages.

Nov 1, 2023 · Funny because difference between “ug” and “og” is a recent development in Bisaya grammar. My grandma was an avid reader and subscriber of Bisaya magazine during the late 80s through 90s and I have never read any article in that magazine that used “og”.
